Nano can break all records of Mruthi 800 because Maruthi is going to stop the production and support of Maruthi 800 and Alto is going to become the base model which is having a price of Rs 3 lakhs approximately. So with Rs.1 lakh Nano can capture the entry level segment of four wheelers.

The Nano from TATA motor is going to the least price car with Rs. 1 Lakh.(approx). No other car is less than 2 Lakh (approx). Even the Maruthi 800 costs nearly Rs. 2 lakh(approx), Now that Maruthi is going to stop the production of the 800 and Alto will be the base model which is around Rs 3 lakh(approx). So if Tata Nano moves more car out then sure the will break the record of Maruthi.
