    How to give marks to a forum starter for a forum that generates good discussion

    I would like to suggest the following method:

    Give the thread starter 10 (or any other reasonable value) pts if.

    The number of responses exceeds 20 (or any other reasonable value) or the number of points generated by other members in total exceeds 40 (or any other reasonable value)

    Is this suggestion viable?

    I think it's a good suggestion. Thread starter must get more points if it generates good amount of response.
