Day 1 - Cochin Munnar trip
As soo as you reach Kochi international airport or the Ernakulam Railway station you will be picked up and transferred to Munnar by Road. A drive of 135 kilometers for about 4 hours will take you through sprawling tea plantations, towns and winding lanes and hairpin bends with beautiful sceneries all through.
While driving to Munnar you can visit
Adimali (Wholesale place for spices and cardamom).
Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls.
Viewpoint.
Pallivasal.
Attukal Waterfalls.
As soon as you reach Munnar you can chck into your choice of hotel according to your budget. Rest and relax in your room and stay the night.
Day 2 - Sight seeing at Munnar
You will leave the hotel after breakfast for sight seeing in Munnar to cover the areas
Mattupetty direction, Photo point, Mattupetty Dam – Optional [15 Minutes Boat Drive in this Dam.
Echo point (The natural Echo phenomenon is always happening here).
Shooting point (Famous point where normally film shooting takes place).
Kundale Lake (A super dam where we can go for shikara boating in the dam).
After lunch in munnar by 2.00 P.M we visit.
Tea Museum (A place where u can see how they are processing tea-Like factory visit).
Visit Blossom Park.
Pothenmedu View Point.
After seeing and visiting these places return to the hotel and stay the night.
Day 3 - Kumarakom Houseboat
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel in the morning drive to Kumarakom for about 175 kilometers in 4 hours. You will board the house boat at 12 noon at Kumarakom in Alleppey / Alappuzha anchored at the backwaters.
After checking in you will get Aa welcome drink and the cruise starts through the canals , rivers and the backwaters of the Vembanad Lake. You cn see paddy fields, coconut lagoons, and the resorts of Kumarakom and the Alleppey area as well as the Kumarakom Bird sanctuary. After lunch visit the pathiramanal Islands , C Block, R Block and rajapuram. The cruise stops and the boat anchors for the night. You can walk through the village , meet the villagers, have dinner and stay the night in the boat. After breakfast in the morning the cruise starts again to Kumarakom and you cn check out by 9.30am.
Day 4 - Back to Kochi bout 75 kilometers and 2 hours drive
You will be taken to the city of Kochi after breakfast, to sight see the city and its well known places to visit like
Dutch Palace.
Marine Drive.
Jewish Synagogue.
St. Francis church.
Chinese fishing nets.
Thripunithura Palace
